KLAUS Multiparking – Gaps efficiently used for parking
Newly-built party-wall buildings normally consist of a plot of land with a short facade. This is the case of this newly-built building in the district of Hortaleza in Madrid. The building features seven dwellings and is therefore required to have seven parking spaces in order to comply with municipal regulations.
The inner courtyard was only designed for 3 conventional parking spaces and therefore proved insufficient to meet the requirements placed on the project. The building developer decided on the KLAUS Multiparking MultiBase 2072i Outdoor mechanical parking system. With a double parker (for 4 cars) and a single parker (for 2 cars), the parking space capacity was doubled from 3 conventional parking spaces to a total of 6 parking spaces, thereby complying with the building regulations. The galvanised finish of the parking system allows it to be installed outdoors.
