KLAUS Multiparking - Convenient parking after refurbishment
The lower floor of this commercial property had previously been reliably used as an underground car park. Over time, water had been constantly leaking into the basement from a nearby stream and causing massive damage to the building structure. As a result, extensive concrete renovation was urgently needed. As part of these measures, the parking systems already installed in the basement, which were dilapidated and no longer met the standards due to age, also had to be replaced.
The convex shaped building structure proved to be a particular challenge. This shape was also present in the underground car park, requiring individual adaptation during the installation of the new parking systems.
The MultiBase 2072i type was the best choice for this. Users can now park conveniently on horizontally accessible parking spaces, the weight capacity of which has also been increased to 2.6 tonnes. The double-platform version – with two vehicles side by side in one system – offers greater convenience in this respect, as the gap between the two vehicles can be used to get in and out of both cars. This system is also available as an open-air version without a roof in the KLAUS Multiparking portfolio. This makes it possible to easily turn one parking space into two outdoors as well.
