The spatial marvel among parking systems
Where low ceiling heights and shallow pit depths make the planning of conventional parking systems hopeless, the MultiBase 2042i type saves the day. This is possible because the platforms tilt accordingly during the lowering and lifting process, meaning that the available distances between the parking levels are used highly efficiently.
Like in this underground car park in Freiburg, where a total of 46 parking spaces have been created.
Other benefits include the following:
- The system type used, with double platforms, offers more space when getting in and out of the vehicle. At 260 cm, the parking space widths here are generously dimensioned to begin with.
- A lining of sound-insulation panels means that the systems are acoustically decoupled, i.e. only minimal noise from the moving platforms is transmitted into the adjacent building structure.
- Independent parking is possible, i.e. no vehicle has to be driven out for another to be driven in or out of a parking space (as is the case in other parking systems with the classic lifting platform principle)
- As well as an optimal use of space, the MultiBase 2042i also scores points in terms of acquisition costs. Compared to other parking systems, it is the most cost-effective product in the company’s portfolio.
